About Us...
Owner, Bob Riddle, went to Mardi Gras in 2006 with his friend and co-owner, Nick Griffin, to get out of town and to enjoy New Orleans.  Nick’s entire family is from New Orleans and welcomed Bob as one of their own.  After their first night of Mardi Gras, Bob and Nick ended up at an all night Po’ Boy Shop and ate their way through half the menu.  From there and for the next 4 days, they ate their way through most of the Po’ Boy shops in New Orleans.  “The owners welcomed us into their kitchens and shared their stories and recipes,” explains Bob.

They returned to San Antonio and couldn’t stop talking about those Po’ Boys.  They searched around town for the taste they were missing and finally decided they would have to open up their own Po’ Boy Shop to satisfy their cravings.  Bob went back to Harahan, LA to work at Koz’s Po’ Boy Restaurant to learn the tricks of the trade and to secure ingredients.  After two weeks of intense training by Po’ Boy master, Koz (short for Kamikaze), Bob headed back to find a local site.
